該公司表示，鉆探工作已于2022年5月5日在日本島根縣和山口縣近海開(kāi)始。

該項(xiàng)目包括在島根縣西北約130公里、山口縣北部約150公里的位置進(jìn)行勘探鉆探調(diào)查。

INPEX表示，INPEX計(jì)劃對(duì)項(xiàng)目獲得的數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行詳細(xì)的分析和評(píng)估，并確定鉆探地點(diǎn)的石油和天然氣儲(chǔ)量。

在水深240米左右進(jìn)行的鉆探作業(yè)，預(yù)計(jì)將持續(xù)到8月。

INPEX沒(méi)有說(shuō)明使用哪臺(tái)鉆機(jī)進(jìn)行作業(yè)。根據(jù)現(xiàn)有資料和AIS數(shù)據(jù)顯示，所采用的鉆機(jī)可能是日本鉆探公司的Hakuryu 5半潛式鉆機(jī)組。

INPEX Starts Drilling Operation Offshore Japan      

Japanese oil and gas company INPEX has started exploratory drilling operations offshore Japan.

The company said that the drilling had started offshore Shimane and Yamaguchi prefectures in Japan on May 5, 2022.

The project involves conducting exploratory drilling surveys at a location approximately 130 kilometers northwest of Shimane Prefecture and approximately 150 kilometers north of Yamaguchi Prefecture. 

"In the future, INPEX plans to carry out a detailed analysis and evaluation of the data obtained from the Project and determine the extent of oil and natural gas deposits at the drilling location," Inpexd said.

The drilling operation, in a water depth of around 240 meters, is expected to last until August.

Inpex did not say which drilling rig it was using for the operation. According to available information and AIS data, it is possible that the rig in question in Japan Drilling Company's Hakuryu 5 semi-submersible drilling unit.
