????Brazil's Braskem to open polymers logistics hub in Singapore

????Braskem is partnering with logistics firm A.P. Moller - Maersk and port operator PSA Corp to open a new logistics hub in Singapore as it seeks to better manage its polymers supply for the region, the Brazilian firm said on Monday.

????The new partnership comes off the back of the company's existing partnership with PSA, which allows Braskem to use PSA Singapore as a regional distribution focal point, the company said in a statement.

????The agreement will enable Braskem to supply its customers in Asia with regular access to its portfolio of polymer products, it said.

????Singapore had already served as the headquarters of Braskem’s Asian operations for over 10 years through a regional commercial office.

????The addition of a logistics hub now allows it to fully account for growing demand from markets such as China, India, Japan, Indonesia and Thailand, the company added.
