當(dāng)?shù)孛襟w周四援引沙特阿美技術(shù)服務(wù)高級(jí)副總裁艾哈邁德?阿爾?薩阿迪(Ahmed Al Saadi)的話稱，沙特阿美正在與主要的發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)制造商和技術(shù)開(kāi)發(fā)商合作，以支持開(kāi)發(fā)內(nèi)燃發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī)模型、低排放技術(shù)和高效混合動(dòng)力解決方案。

Saudi Aramco to make hydrogen vehicles

Saudi Aramco is working on plans for the local manufacturing of hydrogen-fuelled vehicles and the development of related technologies.

“Saudi Aramco is co-operating with major motor manufacturers and technology developers to support developing internal combustion engine models, technologies with lower emissions and efficient hybrid solutions,” Ahmed Al Saadi, senior vice-president for Aramco’s technical services, was quoted as saying by local media on Thursday.

Efforts will be carried out at the company’s Advanced Innovation Center, known as LAB7.

The deployment of hydrogen vehicles will be key to reducing transport-related emissions, particularly in difficult-to-decarbonise segments such as heavy vehicles, Al Saadi said.

In December, Aramco signed agreements to boost CCUS and hydrogen developments with French companies Gaussin, Air Liquide, Alteia and Axens.
