據(jù)烴加工新聞2月8日消息稱，據(jù)兩名知情人士透露，印度最大的煉油商印度石油公司(IOC)將在2022年從伊拉克增加11.5%的原油采購，至每天39萬桶，這在一定程度上是為了彌補(bǔ)來自墨西哥的供應(yīng)缺口和可能來自科威特的供應(yīng)削減。

伊拉克是印度最大的石油供應(yīng)國，隨著另一家煉油商印度斯坦石油公司也將從這個中東國家購買更多原油，伊拉克在該國的市場份額將會上升。

印度是世界第三大石油進(jìn)口國。

消息人士稱，由于墨西哥在開設(shè)一家新煉油廠的同時限制石油供應(yīng)，IOC已轉(zhuǎn)向從伊拉克購買更多石油。

消息人士稱，印度煉油商還預(yù)計(jì)，從4月開始的下一財(cái)年，科威特的石油供應(yīng)可能會減少，因?yàn)榭仆赜?jì)劃今年投產(chǎn)日產(chǎn)61.5萬桶的Al-Zour煉油廠。

去年，科威特最初與印度煉油廠簽署了一份為期9個月的石油供應(yīng)合同，但后來由于Al-Zour煉油廠的投產(chǎn)延遲，將合同延長了3個月，至2022年3月。

India's top refiner raises Iraq oil supplies to offset Mexico cuts

Indian Oil Corp. (IOC), the country's top refiner, will increase crude purchases from Iraq by 11.5% in 2022 to 390,000 bpd, partly to make up for a shortfall from Mexico and a possible supply cut from Kuwait, two sources familiar with the matter said.

Iraq is the top supplier of oil to India and its market share there is set to rise as another refiner Hindustan Petroleum Corp. will also buy more crude from the Middle Eastern nation.

India is the world's third biggest oil importer.

IOC has resorted to buying higher volumes from Iraq as Mexico is curbing supplies as it opens a new refinery, sources said.

Indian refiners also expect oil supplies from Kuwait could be cut in the next fiscal year starting in April as Kuwait aims to start its 615,000 bpd Al-Zour refinery this year, the sources said.

Last year, Kuwait had initially signed a nine-month oil supply contract with Indian refiners but later extended it by three months to March 2022 due to a delay in the commissioning of Al-Zour refinery.
